Net Profit

 

A company's total revenue (from all sales) minus all costs incurred including tax - aka a measure of the profitability of a company after all expenses have been accounted for.

New Issue

A reference to a new investment product such as a company's stock or bonds which are being introduced to the public via a stock exchange for the first time. The investors buying the 'new' stock or bonds are named the 'primary market'.
